Wild Card Weekend!

What a Wild Card weekend!

We went 3 of 4 on the wild card games and 4-3 in college basketball for the weekend.

In Wild Card Saturday we went 1-1, We had wins with a covering Seattle team and the over.  We like teases in these games because they are usually so close as long as we can accurately predict the over under.  Unfortunately we missed the over in the Hou/Ind game and it cost us the win as we were on the Colts to cover.

On Sunday, we loved the two games so we bet on them and tied them together.  Going 3 for 3.  We like Philly and the Chargers to win straight up but we played them in a tease as it gave us the best odds.  The cherry on top of the weekend was going 3-0 in basketball to go 6 -0 in Sunday for +11 units.

Get Ready For Bowl Season

After week 15 in the NFL we are gathering steam for the playoffs and planning to continue the winning play in college football and basketball.

Sport W – L – D Units
NFL 91-85-3 -2.2
CFB 173-128-4 + 46.3
NBA 11-17-0 – 5.8
NCAAM (basketball) 40-21-4 +33.3
NHL 5-2-0 + 4.0

NFL – We finally had a winning week in the NFL after 2 consecutive losing weeks.  We ended up 10-5 for week 15 and got ourselves nearly back to even.  If Minnesota had actually shown up tonight we might have gotten on the positive side (See 12/10 picks below).

NBA – We have had minimal luck in the NBA this year but we had three 1 star plays Monday night with the Mavs -3.5 and under 211.5 plus an under play on OKC.  This shows that our model is starting prove out but we will continue to play cautiously and modify.  NBA is less predictable in the regular season with hit or miss defense and “resting players”.  We will continue to only provide your with the best information and picks we can.  “Its our money too!” so we are in it with you.

NCAAM – Has been the breadwinner.  We have built a strong bankroll and continued the hot streak with two 2 star plays tonight on Hofstra -6.5 (our free play for  Monday) and Marshall u168.5 both covering by 20+ points.

NHL – We had two market follows tonight in Hockey that we couldn’t pass up on the New York teams (Islanders and Rangers).  We noticed the market was moving on the under and overs of both of these games and sent them out earlier in the afternoon for our All Access Members.  They both covered by 3 goals and kicked our night off on the right foot.

CFB – Last but not least we are getting ready for bowl season.  We know most of you will be participating in bowl pools and we will share our bowl pool and confidence picks for our All Access Members on Friday.  Of course we will make official plays on every game as things change over the next three weeks.

Los Angeles Rams & Kansas City Chiefs Deliver

What a game! That might have been the best show we have seen in 30 years of watching football.  The Rams outlast the Chiefs in a barn burner.  This went down exactly like we and probably a number of bettors and analysts thought.  Sometimes the books are helpless against the inevitable and you have to be willing to lay it out there.  We picked the Chiefs at +9.5 and the over of 57.5 for all the marbles for both our Season Pass and All Access players.  The pick covered the over easily and the resilient Chiefs kept climbing back in it (image provided by www.therams.com).

After a rough NFL and NCAAF weekend, tonight was much needed relief.  We are still up for the season (check our pick history) in both leagues and looking to make a big plays this week and weekend.  Join now to receive all the football action you need over the long holiday weekend.

We also had a free play on Texas Tech men’s basketball.  Our pick was the under of 139.  Unfortunately the free throws got us as the game closed.  Tech played the defense we expected but the game got out of hand in the end closing at 141.

If you aren’t a member and want to give us try, sign up for our free picks and receive a few picks a week (depending upon the season) direct to your mailbox at least 30 minutes prior to  each game.

Cashing Tickets is What it’s All About

As Brent Musburger says “Cashing tickets is what its all about”!  We had another busy slate tonight with action across multiple leagues.  We are are having good success across our college plays but are struggling with the NBA at the moment.  But as always, we will dig a little deeper and find an advantage as the NBA season matures.  If you want all the details our daily picks please go to our pick history page to see the dates, lines, and results of our premium pick service.  For Season Pass members its only $10 a month, and for All Access you get every pick we make for $50 a month.

NCAAF

We had more Maction on Wednesday with 4 veteran teams showcasing the best of the MAC.  We had three plays for you last night.  We felt confident on Toledo catching +4, but it turned out to be horrible night for the Rockets offensively and defensively.   Not surprisingly the UNI defense was the best unit on the field which is why we played a 2 Star pick on the under of 55 that got a little scary towards the end.  A defensive stand from UNI to keep Toledo off the board at the end of the game kept the total at 53.

In the other MAC game we gave out free pick with 2Team 6pt Teaser that allowed us to take the hard fighting Miami team at +11 (instead of +5) and an over of 54 (instead of 60).  A late rally by Ohio helped us get over and go 2-1 for the night in college football

NBA

Another rough night in the NBA, 2 plays and 2 losses.  We will re-adjust here and see if there are any blips in our model.  This happens periodically, so we will remain cautious with 1 Star plays for the next few days until we gain some confidence in the model.

NCAAM

There is ample opportunity early in the college basketball season and we have hit on few early.  Unfortunately Saint Mary’s which is a traditional under team went directly to the over last night and beat us on the under of 144.  Fortunately we had a two star play on Arizona at -21.  Houston Baptist kept is close for a half and then Arizona turned it on closing out the game +30

College Basketball Tipped Last Night

NCAA College Basketball tipped last night.  We put together an opening slate of picks around three of the marquee teams for the 2018-2019 season and were able to score wins in all three. We also had other plays in the NBA and with College Football.

NCAA College Basketball

Duke showed us, and the nation, that despite no returning starters that they will be a force to be reckoned with.  Its very early in the season, but there is definitely some over potential with this team despite the early trends that unders are the sharper play.  Duke and Kentucky easily covered the over of 157.5 with a dominant performance for our only 2 Star play of the day.

We did not have it as easy with our free pick of the day.  We try to mix in sharper plays with the free picks so our free pick subscribers can get a flavor of the premium wagering wisdom we provide.  Last night we had Kansas at -4.5 over Michigan State.  As stated in our pick the KU big-men were too much for the Spartans to handle.  The line bounced between -5.5 and -4.5 all day, we were lucky to get the -4.5 which kept us in the win column.

Our third play in NCAA Basketball was on the under of 128.5 between the University of Virginia and Towson.  UVA has a been an under machine over the past several years and we are happy to see that trend continue.

College Football

We had one College Football game last night with Buffalo and Kent State giving us our Tuesday night Maction fix.  This was a hard game to handicap as the wind was going to play havoc with the passing game of Buffalo and both units special teams.  We made a small play on Buffalo at -18 as they were the stronger team and at home.  We did not see them scoring 48 with only 120 passing yards, but the ground game took care of Kent State easily in a 48-14 victory that wasn’t that close.

NBA

Lastly we had two NBA picks for you last night.  Both losers on the overs of 227 (Mavericks and Wizards) and 232 (Hornets and Hawks).  We saw some sharper action hitting both of these totals and our analysis supported a small play that didn’t work out.

As always – Thank you for your trust and we will do our best to earn it every day.

Fall is in the Air!

With this much action on Thursday night, you know fall is in the air.  We had NFL, NCAAF, NBA, and NHL expert picks going tonight.   Overall a positive night at +1.8 units.

NFL – Took a bad beat on the NFL game with a tease of Houston and the Under.  Too many easy touchdowns and turnovers.  We thought Houston could cover the number but as it closed at -8 we decided to play it down and pair it with the under with two very suspect offenses.

NCCAF – Ended up even in  college football with big outright wins with Georgia Tech and Toledo

NBA – The analytics showed an advantage on Boston tonight and it paid off with them righting the ship so to speak to get the cover at -1 over winless OKC

NHL – We also had good analysis and history to support our NHL picks and won easily with money line plays on both Buffalo and Dallas

World Series Game 2

We gave out a free pick on the World Series Game 2.  We stuck to our guns and went under again in Game 2 – luckily this time the Red Sox didn’t have the same success and we were able to get under the number of 8.5.   We will take it!  +1.0 unit.

Tuesday Night Funbelt & The World Series

Thanks to our friends at sunbeltsports.org we got our first Tuesday night FunBelt action.  There is nothing like Tuesday night football!  We made picks on both the Sunbelt game between Troy and South Alabama and the World Series earning back what we lost on Monday.

We picked Troy -11 and were rewarded with an easy cover and then were let down when Sale and Kershaw did not end up in a pitchers duel as we anticipated for Game 1.  Unfortunately the vig got us as well, so we paid a heavy price for the loss.

Overall a positive night +0.35 units

Monday Night Football

Terrible Monday Night Football game.   We played a teaser on Atlanta and the over.  In an ugly game, we ended up on the wrong side and total.  Luckily it was a one star game and we preserved the bankroll.

-1.1 units
